If you want to appeal to a wide audience - whether in print or digital form, you have to be able to offer good quality translations. Especially in the field of fashion this is more important than ever; after all, what use is it if a German text exudes eloquence, but the English version doesn't quite hit the mark? The Cologne and Berlin-based translation team Trend Translations will help you to bridge the gap.

The network was founded by the two translators Paula Hedley (from Newcastle) and Galina Green (from London), two British native speakers with degrees in German and a passion for language.

With ten years of experience under their belts they both know that a good translation is about so much more than just putting words into a different language. Tone, turn of phrase and target audience are all factors that need to be taken into account.

Trend Translations specialises in texts about fashion and textiles, modern culture, media, tourism, design, cosmetics, gastronomy and lifestyle texts, and also has a strong network of translators specialised in other areas. Their clients come mainly from the fashion sector, and include, of course, J’N’C.

Looking for references? Just click on the English version of the J’N’C website or pick up a copy of our J’N’C print magazine. And to find out more about Paula and Galina visit the Trend Translations website or Facebook page.
