Journalism graduates Isabelle Braun and Lena Grossmüller from the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design made precisely this democratisation of the fashion world the subject of their final thesis. Their Frontrow Revolution event is taking place from 4 – 7 February at the NRW Forum Düsseldorf. Keyword: fashion journalism 2.0.

The concept of the museum exhibition is interactive, as the visitors themselves become a part of the installations. Equipped with smartphones and tablet PCs they can access content, blog, comment and share, while the QR codes of the exhibits provide important background information. But that's not all: through the open editorial office the visitors will be given an insight into the everyday life of fashion journalists – for both print and online writing.

The exhibition presents, inspires and questions. But if after the first day you still can't decide whether traditional or virtual fashion journalism is the one for you, – if you're invited – you can participate in an exclusive talk on the subject "Blogs – Smoke and Mirrors or an Olympic flame?"  On 4 February from 5pm fashion experts like Alfons Kaiser (department head and fashion critic for German newspaper F.A.Z.), Adriano Sack (founder and author of ilikemystyle.net) and Kathrin Bierling (editor of modepilot.de) will be turning the salon into a lively discussion panel and providing the audience with plenty of food for thought.

J'N'C is looking forward to seeing you there.
