The polo shirt with the laurel wreath logo became one of Amy Winehouse's signature looks. Together with Fred Perry the soul singer designed four collections. Amy's last collection is available to buy now.
After Amy's untimely death at the age of 27 in July 2011, it wasn't clear whether her third collection with Fred Perry would be launched onto the market. After receiving her family's approval the British streetwear label is now presenting the final Fred Perry by Amy Winehouse Collection for summer 2012: silky polo shirts and cropped blouses, printed with images of Cadillacs and jukeboxes are a reminder of Amy's love of the fifties and vintage and retro looks. The large leather and bowling bags with inner silk lining in the retro print she designed herself deserve a particular mention.
According to Amy's father, she really loved working on the collections and she would have wanted them to be sold. The entire proceeds will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which supports children and youngsters with addictions.
