Traditional brand Victorinox has joined forces with creative platform jovoto for an online contest. Until 1 March jovoto community members can submit their ideas for a limited fashion edition of the original Swiss army knife.
The Swiss label is involving its fans in the design process for the first time, and putting a democratisation process into motion in which lateral thinkers from all corners of the globe can participate. So far, 600 design ideas for the special edition of the 58-millimetre classic product icon have already been submitted to jovoto – after the closing date a professional jury will select the best 40 designs and put them up to the vote on Facebook. Ten winning designs will be produced and should be hitting shelves from July/August.
