The collaboration of the American sporting goods brand Nike with the captain of the French national basketball team is a success.
The black and white photos by passionate hobby photographer Boris Diaw showcase La Silhouette Blanche by Nike, the label's entirely white line, worn by well-known sportsmen and women and Diaw's private friends from the worlds of fashion, film and music, including sporting legend Carl Lewis and the young rappers Nekfeu and Sneazzy West.
And in addition to this "collaboration français", the French national football team will be debuting their new Nike away kit for the summer at their away game in Germany on 29 February. As well as an elegant and detailed design, the shirts mainly stand out for their environmentally-friendly material. The shorts are made 100% from recycled polyester and the shirts 96%. This is equivalent to 13 recycled plastic bottles per shirt.
Highly commendable!
