Michalsky's Protect! collection for spring 2012 is in demand - so much so, that the designer is adding tops, T-shirts and feminine tunic dresses to the collection.
The cooperation between WWF Germany and the Berlin-based designer has been going for two years now. The Protect! collection, made up of sustainable fashion, tries to raise awareness about the transience of nature: each season's collection is dedicated to a different endangered species. This season it's the Hyacinth Macaw, an endangered type of parrot, that's adding colour to the covetable items in the collection.
The successful Protect! collections prove that the old eco clichés are obsolete: sustainable fashion is becoming increasingly popular. The collection is available right now at www.michalsky4wwf.com, in Berlin's Michalsky Gallery and at selected stores all over Germany.
