Humour is one of those things where tastes really diverge and it's pretty certain that the latest Kenny Powers spot from the Californian lifestyle and sportswear label K-Swiss isn't everyone's cup of tea. But the campaign, which was, by US standards entirely politically incorrect, won several awards right from the get-go; amongst them an award for the 'most innovative viral video' by the Web 2.0 blog mashable.com.
Now K-Swiss has continued the campaign centred on the fictitious bad boy and washed up baseball star Kenny Powers. In the new spot, the US soap character, played by stand up comedian Danny McBride, has made it to the executive level of the Californian Sports Company and, as self-appointed MFCEO (Motherfucking CEO) he gives a very public keynote speech.
