At the Berlin Bike Show at the beginning of March, jeans legend Levi’s presented their Commuter Series, an urban bike wear collection, which is now also available in Europe following its successful launch in the USA.
As well as the 511 Commuter Skinny 5-Pocket Jeans, the spring/summer 2012 collection also includes coloured cotton trousers, trucker jackets with and without hoods and a Chambray shirt. All of the garments are breathable, water and dirt-repellent and contain added stretch.
The trousers from this line have waistbands that are higher at the back than regular denims and are equipped with a reinforced crotch to protect against friction. They also have reflector stripes sewn into the seams and a utility waistband to hold your bike lock.
The Trucker jackets and the Chambray shirt have additional pockets and ventilation slits and stand out with their subtle modifications on the sleeves, waist and edges, which guarantee more comfort and freedom of movement while you’re pedalling.
The Levi’s Commuter Series will be hitting the shelves of selected Levi’s Stores from May. It will also be available on www.levi.com and exclusively from Stilrad stores in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Zurich and online at www.stilrad.com. So get on yer bike and get shopping!
