For the second time the American bag label has provided 130 creative people with plain backpacks and asked them to turn them into pieces of art. This Monday they are on sale at artiststudio.eastpak.com. All proceeds will be donated to the "Designer against AIDS" Foundation.
Even celebrities such as Johnny Marr from The Smiths, American painter Jordan Betten and German DJs Tiefschwarz take part in this project. The results are very different and definitely uniqu, like the backpack of Berlin's artists Muschi Kreuzberg or the artwork of Lazerkatz Artspace which was made from three rucksacks. The Eastpak Artist Studio Sale starts on Monday, 19th of March at 9am (CET).
