Armedangels, a fashion label certified Fairtrade and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) from Cologne, is this year’s winner of the Fairtrade Award in the category ‘trade’.
The award ceremony, where the club of the TransFair Company that particularly supports faire trade honors, took place for the third time. The hotel Ellington in Berlin was the scene of the awards presentation.
Cosma Shiva Hagen, who designed the ‚Peace & Light‘ tee for the social fashion label two years ago, presented the prize for special engagement in faire trade. ‘I am also a great fan of the winner’, says the actress, “armedangels manage to set a counterpoint in the fashion industry.” And proves that one can indeed change the world of fashion through a sustainable fashion collection!
