Ray-Ban 'Ambermatic Lenses'
Ray-Ban celebrates its anniversary! 75 years ago the eyewear brand sold the first sunglasses in aviator look. After U.S. Air Force pilots and hunters in the 1940s and 50s, musicians and movie stars started wearing Ray-Bans privately and on the screen. In the coming decades, they were faithful to the brand and new design as ,Wayfarer‘or ,Balorama'.
In the anniversary year, Ray-Ban presents an anniversary edition of ,Ambermatic Lenses' which adapt to sunlight, eyeglass models from the archives of the company, the campaign ,Ray-Ban Legends' and not least the limited photo book ,Chronicles: Untold Stories'. The book reveals 18 little-known recordings of musicians, artists, actors and public figures such as Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy, along with previously unpublished anecdotes. Happy Birthday Ray-Ban!
