Are you searching for avant-garde fashion and rare handmade items? We recommend the DottirDOTTIR Pop Up Shop in the Torstr. 68, in Berlin-Mitte. Ten designers from Iceland, Greenland and The Faroe Islands show their A/W 2012 and S/S 2013 collections in an installation by artist and art director Hulda Ros Gudnadottir.
She invented also the title ‘DOTTIRdottir’ which means literally “Daughter’s daughter” and refers to the Icelandic patronyms. All exhibiting designers combine local tradition with modern fabrics, cuts and prints: Mundi, Hlin Reykdal, Hringa, DisDis (all from Iceland), Bibi Chemnitz and Inuik from Greenland, as well as Barbara i Gongini and Steinum from The Faroe Islands.
