Something old, something blue... No, this is not a wedding tradition, but the 'Trouper DGL' - parka of the Dutch denim label Denham the Jeanmaker.
For this purpose, vintage French linen slipcovers are combined with deadstock Italian Navy blankets from the 1950's. As in the past, the Trouper design is based on the classic fishtail parka. Since the lining is still completely removable, you can either choose to wear the jacket as a stand-alone button-up coat or the linen shell as a three-season wardrobe. A combination of recycled textiles with leather and wood details, gives the ladies jacket a timeless touch. Elaborately hand-dyed, the Trouper parka is available worldwide in an edition of only 50 pieces.
