They have a lot in common: French caoutchouc specialist Aigle and Scottish Harris Tweed. Both were founded 160 years ago and share the same love for quality, tradition and manual work. And both brands work with natural materials.
Harris Tweed is made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The inhabitants of the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist and Barra weave the cloth in their homes under the governance of the Harris Tweed Authority established by an act of Parliament in 1993.
Aigle, master rubber craftsman since 1853, continues to hand make its boots in France perpetuating a unique know-how in the protection of man in nature.
The Aigle x Harris Tweed collection consists of rubber boots and down jackets with Tweed, which was especially created by Harris Tweed for this collaboration. Each model is available in navy or Bordeaux and limited to only 100 pieces.
