Ecological and social responsibility, quality, denim craftsmanship and stylistic finesse are absolutely key for Swedish denim label Nudie. And not just recently, but right from the word go, since the company was founded in 2001 by Maria Erixon. One of her aspirations has always been to offer a complete range made with 100% organic cotton. And that is exactly what the resourceful Swedes have done.
In the current autumn/winter collection they are offering rigid, stretch and selvage denim styles made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. And in order to get the word out, the Swedes have launched the '100% organic competition'. Up for grabs is a trip to Italy, complete with a tour around Nudie's organic denim production facilities. All you have to do is take an Instagram photo that includes the “100% organic” message and image, tag it #nudiejeans100 and upload it to the Nudie website. Spread the word!
