The Fashion Gallery EMIS in Vienna is not only a hot spot for Japanese avant-garde fashion, but is since 13 September also home to the first Y-3 Store in Austria.
A large 60sqm shop area in the gallery was given to the new retail partner. The range includes the men's and women's fashion from the current collection, as well as shoes and accessories. The latest fall/ winter 2012/13 collection shows a mix of traditional and modern culture of Central Asia. In October 2002, creative director Yohji Yamamoto launched the first Y-3 spring / summer 2003 collection in Paris. Thanks to Yamamoto's sense of fashion and his longtime collaboration with adidas, Y-3 has advanced to a high-end sportswear label.
