Camp David joins the ranks of surfers: The casual-wear label is for the first time official main partner of the legendary Reno Windsurf World Cup Sylt. And that's not all: For the exclusive Camp David Sylt Surfcup Collection 2012, the label gets the surfing legend Bjorn Dunkerbeck as a brand ambassador on board.
With currently 41 world titles and numerous world speed records, the 43-year-old is one of the world's most successful professional athletes. "Camp David combines sportiness with coolness - so the label is perfect for me and my way of life," says Dunkerbeck.
The limited edition collection – a tribute to the biggest and longest windsurfing event in the world – will be exclusively available during the Windsurf World Cup in the Camp David tent sale on the promenade in Westerland, at Camp David in Westerland (Friedrichstraße 44) and at Paradise Sylt in List (Waterfront 8-10). A range of six models is the result of a mix of typical Camp David-style with elements of the surf area. This includes for example a fluffy hooded sweatshirt or a windproof soft shell jacket in different shades. Sylt, here we come!
