Even if we won't see much sun this rainy autumn, we can still get stylish sunglasses for next summer! Why not at the Paris fashion house Maison Martin Margiela? For Spring-Summer 2013, in cooperation with the London-based eyewear specialists Cutler and Gross, the label is introducing new sunglasses concepts.
'Clip' combines metal and acetate at three different combinations: Polished dark tortoise shell and black acetate rims fuse with a silver matte effect, a copper gold metal or a gunmetal black. On the other side, 'Lamex' stands out because of its coated part. Acetate is milled to create layers in black over crystal or teak impressions over black.
Furthermore, Maison Martin Margiela is presenting for the first time an exclusive collection of optical eyewear for Spring-Summer 2013. The 'Poids Plume' collection is a return to the basics of eyewear designing and its four styles use weightless stainless steel and fine wire. All glasses are available from November in Maison Martin Margiela boutiques and in a selection of fashion and eyewear sales outlets.
