Four Team Gira runners are staged as a modern incarnation of the storied ninjutsu, or ninja, in the video of the Nike fall/winter 2012 collection in the mountains of Nagano, Japan. With the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou collection, the collaboration with Japanese designer Jun Takahashi, founder and head of the brand Undercover, enters the fifth round.
The men's and women's collection, specifically designed for the sport of running, is titled "Autumn Monks". Convertible jackets with detachable sleeves, laser-cut ventilation and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) fabric adapt to the changing climate. Drawstrings, elastic binding, thumb holes and stretch cuffs provide wind protection and keep the pieces firmly in place. Takahashi captures Nagano's pristine nature with a unique camouflage-like pattern of autumnal leaves in the collection's subtle palette of rich purple, slate grey, saturated blue, deep red and black. In addition, the collection offers women's and men's Nike Free V3 running shoes as well as the men's Lunar Speed Lite + JP. The new Gyakusou collection will be available from 13 October at Firmament, Uebervart and Wood Wood.
