Black is beautiful! For the current fall collection 2012, the Stockholm fashion label Tiger of Sweden has dealt in detail with the fascination of the color black and presents its own wall color 'T/J Black' in collaboration with the Swedish paint manufacturer Alcro. "The color we have developed is a typical dry, dull, broken black for the fall collection," said Claes Berkes, who developed Tiger of Sweden/Jeans with Johan Shalin and product manager Fredrik Folkesson.
The matching fall collection 'Tech Noir' with its typical rock chic look is held almost exclusively in black. And unlike the previous collections from Tiger of Sweden/Jeans that were mostly based on red-ground denim, the current jeans often have a black warp, which gives them a darker background. As of October, the color 'T/J Black' will be available at Alcro retailers.
As an aside: in September, Tiger of Sweden/Jeans was elected by the Swedish men's magazine 'Café magazine' for "denim brand of the year". Congratulations!
