When Dita von Teese happens not to be posing in an oversized martini glass, the best-known representative of the "new burlesque" serves as brand ambassador of the French orange liqueur producer Cointreau. This winter, another handbag with a little extra is launched by „My Cointreau Evening by Dita Von Teese": a cocktail minibar is hidden inside.
The utensils of the bag are as enticing as the ambassador: three glasses filled with spices like ginger, cinnamon and chili, a powder compact filled with tea, a jigger for exact dosing and a classic cocktail spoon that helps to ration the spices. Dita has left some personal tips and tricks in a small recipe book. "Some spices magically guarantee the decisive difference of a cocktail", says Dita. Thanks to the removable minibar, the bag in the typical Cointreau colors white and orange can also be used as a normal handbag.
As of mid-November 2012, the cocktail minibar will be available in limited numbers in the exclusive Cologne concept store Apropos and will cost 450 euros. Along with Dita's signature this is a real collector's item!
