What can happen if a German illustrator meets a 54.000 m² floor space can shortly be seen in BIKINI BERLIN temporary shopping gallery. Here, Olaf Hajek illustrated his vision of the building – ensemble at Budapester Street and signed about one hundred of them.
The picture presents the different facets of the huge all-in-one building and at the same time their philosophy from then until now. The gallery BIKINI BERLIN accommodates since 2012 new, young labels with innovative shops as well as established premium-brands. Since middle of October 2012, Hajek´s illustrations can be admired in three showrooms.
For over twenty years German illustrator Olaf Hajek designs coloured, detailed illustrations for international magazines such as Architectural Digest, Bloomberg, Financial Times, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone or Stern.
