Living in the city and being athletic at the same time – this motto is the basement for the collaboration between the Belgian Fashionlabel Kris Van Assche and American backpack- and bag producer Eastpak.
The collaboration unites Eastpak´s practical orientation and Kris Van Assche´s minimalistic elements by combining cotton and rough zippers with leather-refinings and gummed angles.
"A bag for every situation" describe both labels their collaborations´ result. If so, a classic backpack can be changed into a briefcase or a carrier-bag into a backpack, a suitcase or a normal bag.
The Belgian Label Kris Van Assche was founded in 2004 by head designer Kris Van Assche. Since 2007 Kris Van Assche is head – artist at Dior Homme.
Eastpak was founded in 1976 and produced military and duffle bags for the first instance.
