For its f/w-collection the Berlin based knitwear label Maiami goes way back to traditional values. Inspired by that good old country and hippie looks from way back all styles are fueled by the desire for security, substainability, conciousness and a soulful amount of down-to-earthness.
A tendency which can also be seen when it comes to the colourways which, taking hints from Michelangelo Antonionis masterpiece ‚Zabriskie Point’ and Ang Lees ‚Icestorm’, are ruled by desert shades such as grey, creme, olive, egg-yolk yellow and royal blue. Very 70’s.
