Starting to think about the next cold season in the early summer would have something slightly depressing about it, if it weren’t for the anticipatory excitement which is accompanying the second collection that the Brits Fred Perry have put together with London’s exceptionally talented designer Richard Nicoll.
After the styles caused quite a stir in the relevant fashion circles, collabo Pt. 2 certainly has the potential to unleash real fashion hysteria. Inspired by Pierre Cardin’s 60s Futurism, space age elements as well as the Beatnik-inspired existentialist look of the Parisian Rive Gauche, the strictly limited series consists of ponchos, coats, dresses, skirts, jackets, blouses and jumpers as well as a limited edition range of accessories to go with it. Bring on the winter.
