Whether on paper, online or on the wall – although you can stare at good illustrations for hours on end, it hasn't been possible to really surround yourself with them until now. Thanks to HundredElevenDays, however, this is all about to change. The young Frankfurt label, which is closely connected to the renowned digital artist/photo/illustration agency kombinatrotweiss, fusions artworks by illustrators and graphic designers with foulards and scarves, thereby ensuring fresh input in both disciplines.
And, as the name reveals, the project realisation from the initial idea down to the first finished item took just 111 days. The range of motifs is diverse. The most varied stylistic forms are utilised and reveal their full impact on natural materials like silk and cotton. The unisex-illustrated works of art in material form are available now upon request from www.111days.com and cost between 80 and 215 euros.
