Originally at home in the experimental hi-fashion segment, the Berlin designers from Mongrels in Common are busy treading in street art tracks this coming summer.
That's mainly due to the cooperation with the artist XOOOOX, also based in Berlin, whose filigree illustrative stencil work, 'Wilde Mücken auf Barcode an Schmetterlingen' (which means: 'mosquitoes on the loose on barcodes on butterflies') embellish the scarves, blouses and dresses of the label. The catwalk premiere is taking place next Wednesday as part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Attendance compulsory!
