If you happened to stumble across the Weinmeisterstraße in Berlin yesterday evening you will have enjoyed the mouthwatering barbecue aromas and the tunes being pumped out by the DJ. A colourful mix of trade fair visitors and residents stood on the streets until the late hours to celebrate the opening of the pop-up store of the southern Italian label Meltin'Pot.
Inside the store it was possible to admire selected pieces from the 2011 autumn/winter collection and a limited series of 50 jeans that were produced especially for the opening. In keeping with the ‘Neverending Journey to Nowhere’ theme of the current campaign, the store is decorated with modular flight trolleys and travel souvenirs.
This is the perfect place for hanging out and enjoying the different events on offer including karaoke, concerts, DJ sets and lots more, from 11am until 8pm, but you haven’t got long left: the store will be closing on 6 September.
