Classic, timeless and feminine are three words to describe the work by head designer Lene Borggaard for Danish label InWear. The label and the designer have won the 2011 Guldknap Award, a Danish fashion prize that honours national fashion designers who have succeeded in appealing to an international audience.
In English the word Guldknap means ‘golden button’. And that is exactly what the winners will be presented with at Copenhagen Fashion Week on 3 August – at the InWear runway show. Lene Borggaard joined InWear in 2007 after working at Bruuns Bazaar and, together with her team, is very much looking forward to the awards ceremony.
