The Herzogenaurach sport-goes-fashion label Puma is ringing in another round of sneaker games with the South African artists from Shelflife. The streetwear, sneaker and sprayer store from Cape Town has been a firm constant on the graffiti scene over there and has given the Puma classics Suede and Suede Mid a new makeover.
Inspired by the graffiti-sprayed South African railway carriages, the uppers are black and grey with contrasting orange and yellow. Special feature are the transparent soles with Shelflife tag or artwork revealed on the sneaker lining.
On the two ladies' models the design idea from the last Puma and Shelflife collaboration 'Laces & Ladies', has been developed further: the lining of the Suede and Suede Mid is emblazoned with a woman's silhouette, and the formstrip has been decorated with stylized laces in colour.
Available from 8. August at HHV, Solebox, Overkill in Berlin, White Sole in Stuttgart, Azita in Frankfurt, Asphaltgold in Darmstadt, Afew-Store in Düsseldorf and Kickz.
