Roeckl isn’t the only one using innovative fibres for the fingertips of its gloves, but also Etre. The English communications agency specialises in ‘Experience Design’ and has already come up with a cross between a fingerless mitten and glove in which the fingertips of the thumb and index finger are simply exposed. The follow-up model of this glove is considerably smarter – it can even outsmart touchscreen displays. The contactwoven fibre conducts signals from the fingertips to the display.
