The "Laurel Wreath Collection" is the premium line from London street fashion legend Fred Perry, distinguished mainly by high quality materials and sharp silhouettes. For the autumn/winter 2011/12 season there's a new branding: 30 leaves adorn the legendary laurel wreath for this collection; the 16-leaf logo remains the signature of the Authentic line.
In the autumn it's all about 'Tartan' and 'Textures'. Tartan has long been a part of Fred Perry's heritage; now making a reappearance either in the form of subtle detailing on trims or lining or full on with sharp tartan shirts. The other key theme is 'Textures': combinations of varying knits and fabrics, contrasting thicknesses and vivid embroidery.
Whether it's classic red Stewart tartan or other traditional English fabric: when it comes to the materials at Fred Perry the emphasis is definitely on textiles produced in Britain.
