Recently we reported on it and now the day has come. Now the winner of the KangaROOS Red Design Project has been named! 23-year-old Tina Dauenhauer won the jury over with her classic sporty model.
In the coming spring/summer season 2012 her low-cut and high-cut sneakers will be available as part of the ROOS Red Line in a "Made in Germany" limited edition in selected stores.
The jury, consisting of Martin Thorenz, tutor at the College of Footwear Design, and the KangaROOS team Julia Hummel, Marco Lachner, Philipp Keil and Joachim Jans were immediately thrilled by Tina's mix of desert boot and sneaker, the elegant silhouette and colour combination. Also decisive, in addition to the innovative workmanship was her ingenious use of the ROOS heritage elements.
