With the second 'Go Forth Social Media Challenge' jeans legend Levi's is supporting the small South African children's aid organisation Thanda that takes care of HIV/Aids orphans.
Since 2008, Thanda founder Angela Larkan and her team have been committed to providing the children with long-term care and education. To draw attention to their work, Levi's is providing Thanda with its approx. 7.2 million contacts on Facebook and Twitter as part of the 'Go Forth' social media campaign. All recipients will be asked to pass on the information from Thanda to their friends and followers, which should dramatically increase the aid organisation's profile. Levi's also supports Thanda financially and is appealing to all fellow 'Go Forth' campaigners to do the same by making a donation.
