It sounds like a plotline from a Hollywood thriller: five as yet unidentified sneakerheads - the Shadow Society - got together at a conspirational meeting with the explicit aim of bringing the Puma classic 'Suede' into its purest form, in terms of material, colour and branding, after numerous releases over the last four decades.
And so the result, the 'Puma States x Shadow Society Pack' is clean and untrammeled by unneccessary detail.
In addition to the 'Shadow Society' Logo on the reverse of the tongue, the word 'States' in gold on the outside refers to the collaboration of the five unknown elements as well as the origin of the model. A small leather bag, also with the 'Shadow Society' logo, comes with an extra pair of laces.
The Puma States x Shadow Society Packs are being released in two drops in two colourways each. That means the turquoise suede as well as the beige version are now available at The Good Will Out in Cologne and Solebox in Berlin. The second drop, with the magenta colourway accompanied by the black version, will be on 23. September.
