The British menswear label Ben Sherman has just opened two new shops in London. The store in West London on the Portobello Road 115 has its emphasis on classic understatement. Even the bags only have "115 Portobello" written on them. The upper area houses the Plectrum by Ben Sherman collection.

Accessories and clothing are presented on wooden shelving elements in a simple and modern ambience. The second area houses the complete Ben Sherman Classics line as well as a handful of selected other brands.

And on London's Carnaby Street the old store has been completely refurbished. With help from the Brinkworth Design Agency the store has had a modern and fresh makeover without losing sight of the label's tradition. Nice touch: the textiles from the current collection have also been used to upholster the furniture. The shirt bar is the centrepiece of the shop. This is where, with the help and support of the "Shirtellier", everyone will find their perfect shirt. There are future plans to apply the concept internationally.
