Dreamy, poetic, fey, melancholy. The works of the Japanese photographic artist Masao Yamamoto go beyond their function as reflections of reality and create atmospheric images which – if the word weren't so fey itself – one could describe as soulscapes.
The same goes for the photos from the current autumn/winter campaign for the US-American outdoor label Woolrich. Every image is a piece of art on photographic paper, whose colour nuances and shadows are created with a special technique during the photographic developing process. The result is a campaign with a warm and dense atmosphere. Just like the Woolrich coats.
