Japanese denim label Edwin is celebrating its 50th birthday! Reason enough for them to get back to their roots and present a menswear collection produced the ‘old-fashioned way”.
The “Overworks Factory” line features jeans, shirts and jackets for this autumn and winter season. All items are made from Japanese cotton on the original old weaving stools from Japan.
For the style Edwin took its inspiration from the twenties as company founder Tsunemi repaired and sold second-hand army clothing from that era. In keeping with tradition, the limited collection is not pre-treated so the items will shrink a few centimetres when washed and first get their individual shape from their wearer. Happy Birthday Edwin!
