There aren’t many bands who don’t have the Marshall amplifiers with them on stage. For over 50 years the traditional British company have been providing us with that unmistakable rock’n’roll sound. And they meanwhile also offer headphones as part of their range. Together with Vice Magazine, Marshall Headphones has now launched the On The Road project.
On marshallheadphones.com and vice.com we can accompany Jesse Hughes, front man of the Eagles of Death Metal, on his trip through California. His goal: to find out what the life of a real rockstar is like. He talks to the people behind the scenes, as well as with band members from bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Machine Head, Slipknot and other greats, who he, for example, meets at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.
After the first six episodes Tim Harrington from Les Savy Fav will then take us with him in his tour van to the most rocking concerts, from Nebraska to Texas. A tribute to the rock’n’roll lifestyle and a unique, amusing and fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of big bands!
