Sometimes wonderful things can come about as the result of something terrible. Just like the new “The Lullaby” collection by CW, the new label by Swedish designer Carin Wester, created in cooperation with Urban Outfitters.
For the collection Carin was inspired by Roman Polanski’s “Rosemary’s Baby”, the horror film with which Mia Farrow made her acting breakthrough in 1968. Mia played the beautiful and smartly dressed Rosemary, who is seemingly pregnant with the devil’s baby.
The collection makes reference to the eerie mood of the film with colours like dark petrol, fuchsia, emerald green and deep burgundy. Flared trousers, shift dresses and even a faux fur muff all ooze sixties flair. The chic and mysterious items are available exclusively at Urban Outfitters from today.
