The European Hilfiger Denim Live tour is stopping off at the Gretchen Club in Berlin next week. On Thursday 20 October you can soak up the the sounds of electro rapper Uffie and the American indie band ‘of Montreal’.
‘Hot Chick’ Uffie from Miami is signed to the Ed Banger label in Paris and released her debut album “Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans” one year ago. And the music style of the indie rockers from Athens, Georgia has evolved from Beatles-inspired psychedelic twee pop to electronica, funk, glam and afrobeat. After their performances, local DJ greats like Fran Diavolo, Radio Slave, Sasha Dive, Leg-No and Turmspringer will be spinning house, techno and minimal house tunes.
Following Milan, Berlin is the second station of the Hilfiger Denim Live Tour, during which both musicians from the Kids of America 2011 autumn campaign, as well as national artists from the corresponding countries have been rocking crowds into a frenzy. Tommy Hilfiger has been taking European metropolises by storm with this concept for two years now.
