After three stores in Munich, Hannes Roether's label has finally arrived in Berlin! In mid-November the Freiburg-based designer will be opening two shops at one fell swoop: for women in Brunnenstrasse 6/7 and for men in Torstraße 109.
He'll be displaying his clothing, which ranges from romantic to understated items, between raw walls and stripped floorboards on a special wire hanging system.
Hannes Roether started out in 2005 with his first men's collection and two years later he lauched his women's line in cooperation with his wife Nicky Wendt. Since then he has been designing relaxed fashion made of natural materials like cotton, silk, linen and leather, which also predominate in his spring/summer 2012 collection.
Women can look forward to breezy dresses, kimonos and tunics in cream and rosé, grey hues and dark forest greens. The men can expect waistcoats and suits paired with fishing trousers and casual shirts. Definitely a place to pop into, next time you're in Mitte!
