Just before Christmas, Asics is presenting its latest cooperation. The Japanese sports footwear manufacturer chose the French sneaker magazine Shoes-Up this time round. The sports buddies gave the classic Japanese school sneaker Retro Rocket a modern makeover.
For the colours, they were inspired by the game of marbles, which is particularly popular in France. That's why the sneakers, in light grey with petrol and dark blue accents, are called "Sac de billes" and come in an elegant box, complete with a small bag of marbles from the traditional French marble makers, Bille en Brousse.
