For three days, starting tomorrow, the Düsseldorf Mavi store will be cooking up a storm as a denim workshop. Along the lines of the Turkish jeans brand’s motto: “We cook the perfect fit”, the Denim Kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils like benches, wooden spoons and scales, as well as everything you need to customise denim like sewing thread, scissors, tubes of paint and buttons.
And in the shop window a performance artist will be processing the indigo gold for passers-by. Here every gourmet denimista is sure to find their ‘perfect fit’. Plus, everyone who tries on a pair of jeans in the Mavi store over the three days will receive a limited edition denim kitchen apron that would even make Jamie Oliver envious.
