The Parisian record and fashion label April77 has been hatching plans with designer Calla Haynes. The Toronto-born Canadian become well known for her unusual digital prints and the use of luxurious materials like silk, fish leather and handwoven ikats from Uzbekistan.
In the April77 x Calla capsule collection the April77 classics Joey Lady, Marky Jeans and Beat Jacket were crossed with psychedelic pointillist Jackson Pollock style patterns somewhere between Romantic and Rock’n’roll.
The limited items are available as of now from April77 and their online shop. As well as from Opening Ceremony in NYC and LA, Le Bon Marché in Paris, Le 66 Paris, Maria Luisa in Hong Kong, Bettina in Athens, Isetan and Delta in Tokyo, V2K Istanbul and from Asos.
