Wearable baseball caps or modern works of art? Last year we already introduced the impressive interpretations of the 59Fifty Cap and the winning model in the "Introducing" design competition.
The young competitors are still celebrating their designs – on an international scale: in London, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm and now in Berlin. The 80 impressive caps can be admired as part of an art exhibition at the Bread & Butter from 18. - 20. January 2012.
The headwear label New Era, founded in New York in 1920, supports talented new artists each year with an international competition: the winner, Lina Al-Amoudi, from the United Arab Emirates, won a scholarship worth 10,000 Pounds Sterling to help her on her creative career path.
In addition to the exhibited headwear there is also a film installation documenting the artists' creative processes and designs. You can find the caps in the new D.O.C.K area of the Berlin trade show. But if you miss them at the B&B, don't be sad, you can catch up with them on their exhibition tour. After Berlin, the next stops are Cape Town and Dubai!
