Calling all ski and snowboard fans! Quiksilver has opened a new Boardriders Club store – at the foot of Mont Blanc in Chamonix. With an area of 400 square metres, the loft has three floors and is the new Mecca for all alpine lovers looking to kit themselves out with boards, clothing and accessories. But that's not all: the new store concept is totally different from traditional marketing channels.
Quiksilver has created it very own world for the presentation of its labels Roxy, DC, Moskova & Co. – a warm and cosy place with a log cabin flair: wooden walls and flooring, roof beams and antique furniture and seating as far as the eye can see. There is also plenty to keep customers occupied in this relaxed atmosphere: thanks to the WiFi connection, for example, they can start their day by checking out the snow conditions online, while sipping a hot chocolate at the bar. Or they can lean back after an energetic day and read one of the many "La Corde Rouge" mountain climber books from the in-house library.So, take it from us: the Boardriders Club is definitely worth a visit, and not just because of the superb views of Europe's highest peak.
