The Museum of Communication in Berlin is being transformed into an laboratory for denim experiments this evening. As part of a fashion performance, seven colleges from Germany and Switzerland are presenting their research results in the form of 119 looks. Cuts and material are the parameters with which the aesthetic depths of denim are being plumbed.
The event is part of the programme of the much-praised exhibition Fashion Talks, which reflects on the individual and collective aspects of fashion. Doors open at 9.30pm. Seats cost 12 Euros, 8 Euros for standing room and 6 Euros for concessions. More info at www.fashion-talks.de.
