Denim in all variations of blue – from indigo to light blue combined with desert-influenced colours and very few colourful accents were presented by the Dutch jeans label at the G-Star fashion show at Bread & Butter in Berlin a couple of weeks ago.
The audience was also given a glimpse of experimental, handmade pieces from the G-Star Denim Atelier, which will be hitting shelves in an understated form next year. Bond Girl Gemma Arterton, who recently posed in front of the camera lens of star photographer Anton Corbijn for the autumn/winter 2011 campaign, was spotted sitting in the front row. Due to her tough, yet feminine manner the British actress, who has starred in Hollywood blockbusters as well as on theatre stages, is the perfect embodiment of the ‘Raw Elegance’ G-Star ladies’ collection.
