Art collector Julia Stoschek wearing Adidas SLVR
A few days ago the temporary Adidas SLVR/Porsche Design Sport satellite store opened in the heart of Düsseldorf’s Old Town. Guests including art collector Julia Stoschek, as well as Gabriela Holscher and Antonio di Marco, owner of the legendary Düsseldorf Ela Selected stores, flocked to the opening to cast a glimpse of the A/W 2011-12 collections.
Under the wing of the new creative director Dirk Schönberger a sporty fashion style with convertible elements has been created, inspired by futuristic visions.Countless zip fasteners, mesh details and metal touches adorn the purist garments of the collection in biker and uniform style.
If you prefer to stand out from the crowd, you will like the silver effects. More reserved nature types will choose the silvery shimmering materials. Otherwise the colour palette is classic and neutral (like ‘Tarnish’, a warm grey-beige), but also features vibrant highlights in bright blue or deep forest green. Captain Future goes purist.
